What changes when an old photo is animated?
Photo animation uses AI to create new frames from a still image. The person may turn their head slightly, meet the camera with their eyes, or smile. A suitable ten-second portrait can include a more expressive sequence, such as looking down and then back toward the camera.
The motion is newly generated. It does not recover how someone actually moved or prove that they performed the gesture. Hello Once More films are silent: no generated voice, speech, or messages.
The scan matters more than the age of the photo
A sharp scan from decades ago can be more useful than a recent, heavily compressed screenshot. Choose a photograph with clear eyes and a visible face, without glare or a hand covering the mouth.
- Upload a JPG, PNG, or WebP under 10 MB, at least 512 pixels on each side.
- Keep the original scan. Make cropping or brightness adjustments on a copy.
- Use a straight-on photograph of a print if you do not have a scanner. Avoid reflections and deep shadows.
- For groups, each face needs enough detail. A quieter smile is usually a better fit than a coordinated gesture.
Black-and-white photographs are welcome
A black-and-white portrait can be animated in its original tones. Animation and colorization are different steps. Our public example includes AI colorization, but the standard order does not guarantee restoration, historical color accuracy, or colorization of every photo. Contact us first if that is essential to your request.
One photograph, one private film
Choose five seconds for US$5 or ten seconds for US$9. A person reviews the source and the result. One retry is included if the first result is unsuitable; if we cannot produce an acceptable portrait, we refund that film’s purchase value.
Delivery is usually within 48 hours after payment and receipt of a usable photo. Save your private order link to check progress and download the MP4. There is no subscription.
