Six questions and our answers
| Question | Why it matters | Hello Once More |
|---|---|---|
| When is the photo uploaded? | Some tools upload as soon as you pick a file. | It is checked on your device first and uploaded only when you continue from the review step. |
| Who processes it? | AI video is usually generated by an outside provider. | Vercel hosts our storage. fal.ai and its model provider process the image to create the film. Stripe handles payment and Resend sends order emails. |
| How long are copies kept? | Copies can outlive the order. | Our working photograph is deleted after delivery or refund, and unpaid drafts older than seven days are removed. Providers may keep copies under their own policies. Order and payment records may be retained. |
| Who can see the result? | Links can be forwarded. | Anyone with the complete private order link. Customer films are not put in a public gallery without separate permission. |
| Will it be used in marketing? | Some services reuse uploads. | Not without separate, explicit permission. Our public example shows a fictional person. |
| Is my visit tracked? | Analytics can follow you between sites. | Optional first-party analytics only if you allow them; off under Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. Never photos, names, or email. |
Before you upload anywhere
- Read the service’s privacy notice, especially the parts about AI providers and retention.
- Upload a copy, never your only file.
- Embedded camera details such as location can travel inside a photo file. The copy our page prepares is redrawn as a new JPG, so that embedded information is not carried into our upload. Other services may differ.
- If the photograph shows other people, make sure you are comfortable sending their faces too.
Treat the private link like a key
Your order page is reached by a long private link. Anyone who has the complete link can open the order, watch the film, and request a refund, so never post it publicly or paste it into a group chat. To share the film, download the MP4 and send the file. Saving and sending the video explains how.
Asking for a copy or deletion
You can email us to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your information. We cannot promise to delete copies held by payment or AI providers, and we say so plainly in the privacy notice rather than here in small print.
